Days have been really boring lately.. Therefore, me and SC planned for a one-day trip to Genting’s Theme Park two weeks back.. We decided that this weekend was a good one as it was right after their LOMA exams (Insurance papers).. So she sent out invitations and got few people to join the trip.. As I mentioned in my previous post, we thought of going by bus but there wasn’t early bus available for us.. So we had to drive up.. CW, SC, JK and Andy came to pick me up from my house at about 8am (Someone woke up late..) and headed to Wangsa Maju to pick up KK…

 

We had our breakfast near her place and headed towards Genting Skyway right after that.. It was quite crowded at Skyway with a lot of Indian tourists.. Genting trip must be on promotion in India.. =.=" Anyway, we reached the top at around 9am and started our crazy time~

As expected, it was really crowded at the theme park as it was a Saturday!!! Luckily not many people queued for tickets, and we got ours as soon as we reached… Everyone pointed at the Space Shot as soon as we entered the theme park.. =.=" I told them to leave it for later and we should start with some mild ones first.. Haha.. Sorry, Auntie scared ma… On average, we needed to queue at least 30 to 40 minutes before every ride that we took..

So we started off with the Cyclone… SC managed to capture video while sitting on the ride.. 0.0" We had a nice shout on our first ride though.. We heard the guys shouted so loudly, I guess they were just releasing their stressness… =P

We wasted no time but to go for Space Shot next.. We queued for about 20 to 30 minutes before it started to drizzle.. It was about our turn, but they stopped operating the ride.. T.T So we went to the ice-cream stall opposite it for ice-cream.. Luckily I didn’t have any as the ride was reopened as soon as they got their ice-cream.. -.-" So we ran to queue again.. They forced themselves to finish off their ice-cream as it was almost our turn to ride.. So I helped KK to ‘bite’ half of the scoop of Chocolate ice-cream.. 0.0" Maybe I took Space Shot too often, it wasn’t really scary but I shouted like crazy woman~ XD

Then we took few more rides before stopping for lunch around 1pm.. We decided to take a rest at Burger King.. Didn’t know Burger King charges RM17.30 per set in Genting… -.-" Had a nice time chatting and lunch-ing… We are really a bunch of jokers.. =P

We wanted to continue our rides right after lunch but the mist got very heavy and it started to rain again.. So most of the thrill rides were closed, and we forced to take the Antique Car.. =P Funny thing happened.. SC bluffed KK that she needs to control the steering just like she’s driving… KK really believed in SC and was very nervous steering it.. (KK doesn’t drive..) Me and Andy whom were on another car in front of them wondered why KK was so nervous.. Only we realized KK was bluffed.. KK saw both my hands weren’t on the steering and she shouted "Why Alina is not holding the steering???!!!".. And then she realized……. =.=" KK is really cute…

Since it was raining, we went back into First World Plaza for a walk/shopping.. XD We walked around for a while before going out for rides again.. We saw the Sg. Rejang Flume Ride was operating, so we ran towards the ride and queued.. The queue was really long, and it took us… almost an hour? We were super tired/sleepy by that time (We are old already..), but the wait was worth it because we got a nice splash of water and got very refreshed.. =P Water was dripping from my hair, and I used the hand dryer in the washroom to dry it.. =P

Since we were already wet.. I suggested to take the Bumper Boat.. I told them we might need to queue for some time because each game lasted for 10 minutes.. Since we have nothing better to do and it was still early, we decided to queue.. And when it reached our turn, the game was stopped because of the stupid rain again.. >.<" Luckily we needed not to wait very long before it was reopened..

Most of them played it for the first time, and I went for it for x times.. So while bumping onto people’s boat, I manage to grab my camera and took photos of them with another hand twisting the controller.. Luckily neither of me nor my camera fell into the pool.. >.<" I got some not too blur photos though although the boats were moving very fast.. XD Thanks to the training by YChen~ (We always performed this stun when we played Bumper Boat..)

After twisting the controller for 10 minutes, our palms were so numbed and turned reddish.. T.T I held it so hard because I only used one hand… 0.0" We were quite satisfied with our achievement that day, and decided to head back to KL for dinner…… before they stopped by the Spinner.. I swear I would have vomit if I took that, so I just stayed aside and took their photos while they played the Spinner… =P I felt dizzy just by looking it spinned.. >.<"

After the ride, we really headed for Skyway and back in Setapak around 8pm when we had our dinner at the Ipoh Road Hakka Yong Tau Foo there… Nothing special about the yong tau foo actually, since I don’t like yong tau foo.. =P But we did have a great time laughing although my brain was 80% shut down.. ~.~

It was really a nice trip.. The people are great and fun… We LOL (and also felt tired) most of the time.. Hope to have another great outing with them soon.. Hmm, let’s plan for the next…… XD
